A colorful bundle of creative potential
This simple material — heavyweight cardstock in a variety of colors — has so many interesting possibilities! At Federal Color, we use colored strips of paper all the time in our design process; we'll grab a couple of colors and lay them next to each other to visualize a new product's color scheme. We use them in manufacturing, too: they're the perfect size to write a quick label for a stack of work in progress.
Artists will have even more ideas for our Assorted Cardstock Strips, like collage, papercraft, assemblage, and a variety of mixed media practices. Each package comes with 1/2 lb. of paper in a variety of shapes and sizes. Each package is different, but to give you an example, the package in our photos has 61 pieces, with the smallest piece measuring 2" x 5" and the largest piece measuring 4" x 10".
The paper textures and colors will vary, but they're all heavyweight. Our cardstock ranges from 90-100 lb., (not like the cheap cardstock at big-box stores, which is typically about 65 lb.)
Sustainably sourced
Our Cardstock Strips are milled in the United States and cut in our St. Louis, MO production facility. In addition to being locally-made, our Cardstock Strips have another sustainability bonus: much of the paper for this product is upcycled from production scrap generated by our notebook manufacturing. Our goal is to find a use for every scrap, no matter how small — look out for even more upcycled products in the future!

How quickly will my order ship?
Our St. Louis warehouse team is pretty speedy! We generally ship orders within one business day of receiving them. You'll receive a tracking number by email as soon as your order's packed and out the door.
How long will it take to arrive?
We offer shipping estimates for each order at checkout. Please note that these are only our system's best guess — there are many factors that may affect shipping time.
Generally speaking, our parcels take about 2-3 business days to travel to most U.S. addresses once they are shipped.
In a hurry? We offer expedited shipping options, including overnight shipping, at checkout.
IMPORTANT NOTE: We never guarantee delivery dates because carrier delays are not within our control. We do not issue refunds due to delays in transit.
Do you accept returns?
Yes — we accept returns of unopened, undamaged items within 30 days of receipt.
If your return is because we made a mistake, we'll pay for the return shipping label. If you're returning an item because you changed your mind, return shipping is at your expense.
